The Gran Via exhibition centre and the Port Vell
will be completely full during the 47th Barcelona Boat
Show, which expects to consolidate its growth.
Boat-builders, electronics companies, inflatables,
engines, charter companies, accessories' and 2,200
sailboats and motorboats to choose.
We are expecting some 700 companies to take part in an
exhibition area of 115,000 m2, and more than 180,000
visitors.
There will also be around 200 sailing-related
activities going on.
The Floating Exhibition at Port Vell is being enlarged
and will house around 300 large vessels.
The success of 2007 allows us to anticipate that the
2008 Boat Show will surpass those figures:
- 180,000 visitors
- 41 countries represented
- 2,100 boats
- 200 activities and seminars
An international platform
The Barcelona Boat Show's position on the circuit of
essential international boat shows is now
consolidated. Its prestige increases with every event
and for years now it has been regarded as one of the
top three in Europe.
The program of around 200 events makes the show the
most attractive and interesting nautical exhibition on
the European circuit.

The show does complete
justice to boats and yachts up to 50 ft. See for
yourself as luxury and practicality are blended to
ensure no comfort goes missing on the high seas. A
complete hall has also been devoted to water sport and
the related accessories; enough room to see products
in use and to test them yourself.
A top quality side
events programme and accompanying speakers and
workshops have been planned to provide additional
information on certain featured topics. There will be
plenty of action on the show stage linked up to the
diving tower. In 2007 Christian Redl set a new "Apnoe
internet surfing with breath holding" world record. |

We are already working on the next Show who will take
place from 5th to 14th December 2008 at la Porte de
Versailles.
Over 300,000 amateurs
and professionals are expected to attend the 48th
edition of the Paris International Boat Show with some
1,400 boats having set a course for the city of lights
especially for the occasion.
1,200 exhibitors
representing 1,500 brands are ready to present the
largest display of the french and the international
nautical industries in a total exhibition surface of
150 000 m². The Show will also be the place of meeting
of outstanding skippers and adventurers and will
propose captivating animations showcasing as usual the
themes of discovery, adventure and learning. |

In the true spirit of
innovation, Haute Miami, the first fair of
its kind in the United States, will debut in glamorous
Miami Beach from January 8th - 11th, 2009. With an
expansive roster of 160 prestigious, international
exhibitors featuring contemporary and vintage fashion,
jewelry, art & antiques, design, exquisite gardens,
exotic yachts, airplanes, personal helicopters, new
technology in many forms, an emphasis on "going green"
including solar powered vehicles and much more, Haute
Miami is certain to dazzle even South Florida's savvy
and sophisticated audiences. Haute Miami, at the Miami
Beach Convention Center, will run concurrently with
SeaFair, Expoship's innovative megayacht. At 228 feet,
SeaFair is the 4th largest private yacht in America.
The venue will host 28 additional exhibitors in
private galleries and features a gourmet restaurant,
champagne/caviar lounge and a spacious sky deck.
SeaFair will be docked on Millionaire's Row and can be
accessed by shuttles from the Convention Center. The
custom built $40M exposition vessel will serve as a
networking hub and private venue for many of Haute
Miami's most exclusive events. Haute Miami, modeled
after similarly successful luxury fairs in Europe and
Asia brings new excitement and glamour to the
traditional holiday and winter season in Miami Beach.
In keeping with the city's international flavor, Haute
Miami at the Convention Center will offer extended
hours operating Wednesday - Saturday evenings until
11PM and will feature a full slate of nighttime
events. SeaFair will host an array of invitation-only
events.
